What is the difference between intramural and travel?

• Intramural is a more recreational type program, they do practice twice a week and travel for away games to other local clubs (Lancaster County). The games will have certified referees provided by the home club for game. And the commitment is season to season. Travel soccer will typically compete in the LANCO league which has teams in the Lancaster, York and Lebanon areas. Travel teams usually will compete in tournaments within an hour drive. The selection of leagues and tournaments is up to the teams, travel committee and MTSC.

When does the season begin?

• Intramural Will begin approximately mid-August
• Travel will begin with the start of team camp which is one of the first 2 weeks in August.
• Spring season depends on weather, travel teams will train over the winter.

When are try-outs for Travel soccer?

• The travel soccer program does not begin until U9. Try-outs for the coming year will take place the spring prior to the fall season. Schedule will be posted on web site once it has been set.
