In addition to his soccer accolades, DiPrima holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from North Carolina State University.
He brings with him to Lancaster Elite a wealth of knowledge, a professional mentality, and elite level standards to establish a club wide culture here in Lancaster.
Danny DiPrima is a Harrisburg area native who grew up just south of the state’s capital in Dillsburg, PA. He brings to Lancaster Elite a vast knowledge and experience in the game of soccer.
As a collegiate player he spent 1 season playing in the Big East Conference while finishing out his final 3 seasons of collegiate soccer playing in the ACC with North Carolina State
University. With the experience gained as a player at the Division 1 level he then went on to play 4 professional seasons with the Harrisburg City Islanders in USL Pro which is now the USL Championship. During this time with the Islanders his highlight moment was scoring the game winning goal in the 2014 USL Pro Semifinals to earn the team a trip to the USL Final. He is currently playing in his 10th season overall as a professional in the Harrisburg area and serving as the Captain of the Harrisburg Heat.
While playing at a professional level in the local area he also applied his knowledge to the next generation of soccer players here in South Central Pennsylvania both at the youth and college level. He spent the past 8 years as a youth coach at Keystone FC in Mechanicsburg while also applying his knowledge to the college level of Men’s soccer. He spent 4 seasons at York College between the years of 2018 and 2022 and he just recently completed his second season as an assistant coach at Millersville University. The 2023 season saw the Marauders become the regular season PSAC Champions, the PSAC Champions, and advance to the NCAA Tournament.
